As has been the case in Malky's previous pre-season training camps, day three is about working hard after breakfast until lunch and then using the afternoon period for team bonding. It can't be under-estimated.
Wednesday morning saw the lads up the intensity of their ball-work, moving away from the four by four keep ball sessions encountered on days one and two and stepping into a physically demanding four attackers versus four defenders plus goalkeeper scenario.
Check out our social network channels this evening to see some photographic examples of what we're talking about. Of particular note to the casual observer was the sharpness and tenacity of the fit again Nicky Maynard
, a man evidently intent on putting last season's misery behind him and excelling in such a forward-centric training environment as was the case on Wednesday morning.
