19-year-old midfielder Mats Møller Dæhli played 77 minutes of Norway’s friendly defeat to France in Paris on Tuesday night.
Claiming a fourth cap for his country, it was to be a disappointing evening for Per-Mathias Høgmo’s side as they fell to a 4-0 defeat against Brazil bound France. A second-half brace from Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud and a Loïc Rémy strike made the win convincing in the end, as Didier Deschamps’ side built on Paul Pogba’s first-half goal.
With preparations for the upcoming qualification for the UEFA Euro 2016 Championships the main priority for Norway, a friendly clash with Russia comes next for Mats and Norway in Oslo on Saturday.
