Cardiff City u18s completed a successful pre-season with a 3-0 win against Swindon at Treforest.

Striker Nat Jarvis, called up to the first team in midweek for the visit of Burton Albion, got Neal Ardley's men off to the perfect start after 10 minutes.
Right back Luke Jones ventured forward to float in an inch perfect cross for Jarvis to flick home with his head in the six yard box.

It was Jarvis who doubled City's lead after half hour, capitalising on a mistake by a Swindon centreback. Jarvis found himself running free and one on one with Lee Bedwell in the visiting goal, finishing cooly into the bottom corner.

The Bluebirds almost trebled their lead when tricky right winger Kevin Sante Luce showed a great turn of pace to motor last left back Joe Chapman and crash a fierce shot onto the crossbar.
City were well worth their lead at the break, and continued to impress in the second half despite Neal Ardley and opposite number, ex-Wales international Paul Bodin, making a number of changes.
City weren't disrupted though, and finally grabbed a third goal in the final minutes when substitute striker Dane Griffiths beat 'keeper Bedwell at his near post.
The team begin their academy season at home to Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
