Cardiff City fans are used to raising the roof at Ninian Park - but now it's falling down. 

The demolition men have been busy at the famous old ground, scene of so many triumphs for the Bluebirds.

Club photographer Peter Thomas was there to see the top come off the Grandstand, and there won't be a City supporter anywhere who won't feel a pang of nostalgia.

 Our superb new stadium is already creating its own legends as we move towards a glittering future, but it's still tough to see 99 years of history and magic memories come tumbling down in Peter's superb exclusive pictures.
