Following the 2-2 draw with local rival's Swansea City, Cardiff manager Dave Jones gave his reaction to the press.

"We kept battling away, it was hard we got caught with a sucker punch because we were trying to press home and get the winner and they caught us on a sucker punch. But we kept building, kept fighting and we got our rewards at the end. If we had come away with nothing after the way we dominated the game after the first 20-minutes we would have been disappointed.

"I thought their 'keeper was absolutely superb. I thought the chances we had in the second half was enough to once we'd got the goal. There was one hell of a save on Joe, how the hell he's got to it I don't know.

"Everyone is going to go on about the penalty but if you look just before that Jay was pulled down in the box and he doesn't give it. They then go up the other end and score. It's a soft penalty but I've looked at it a few times and I thought the lads got to win the header but he doesn't so he pushes him in the back. I'm going to beg to differ with Roberto over a glass of red wine now because you've got to win the header in there and he didn't, he pushed him in the back.

"For the first 20-minutes I thought they were on top. It took us 20-minutes to settle down and get in to it, then they've scored the goal. Then after that we've really pressed and they've made some unbelievable saves. Probably with a little bit more composure in front of goal we might have made them make more or put it in the back of the net. We press them again and get a chance in the second half where we clear off the line. I thought it was a great game to watch. We pressed and we pressed and within that there was some really good football from both sets of players to be fair.

"We wanted the three points, that's what we are pressing for but if we are pressing then we need to be solid at the back and not get caught with the goal we did. It's a sloppy goal to give away. Scotland's nowhere near him when the ball is played in to him and he's allowed to bring it, chest it and all of a sudden we've backed off and the lad has struck it. That's the disappointing side but there's not many disappointments I could say for the way we played. We really had a good go today."
