Following the Bluebirds 3-0 loss to visitors Ipswich, Terry Burton gave his thoughts to the press.
"Of course nobody is happy when you get beat. We are always assessing our performances good and bad and you know we've had a bad week.
"In terms of overall performances, within the three games there's been good periods, even at Preston, we were the better team. At Charlton we played well for some periods and today in the first half if you were reporting on it then, then maybe you'd have give a different score line.
"We've got to get back to where we are hard to beat, start off on a good base, work hard, stop the opposition play. Maybe we've just been a little bit too open in our last few games of chasing that last play-off spot. The games before that we were trying for an automatic spot. We've just been playing a bit too open and too easy to play against. Those are the things we will have to address for the next game.
"I know it's a cliché but goals do change games. We go out, we start brightly, we get balls in to wide positions, we create, which is what our expectations are. We try to get wide, we try to get around the sides and get crosses into the box. We got into those areas but we probably didn't diliver as much as we might have liked.
"We missed the penalty and then if everyone is honest they scored against the run of play."
