City boss Dave Jones has stressed that his Bluebirds are all too aware of the bigger picture following the first leg play-off semi-final win away at Leicester City's Walkers Stadium on Sunday.
"There were no high fives or back-slapping in the dressing room because we know we'll have to work hard again on Wednesday," said Jones after the win. "The job isn't done yet and my players know that. And just in case they forget we'll be telling them on the bus on the way home today, then again tomorrow and Tuesday in training, plus a few more times before we kick-off the second leg in Cardiff."

In terms of the overall performance, there were no complaints from Dave, admitting that Cardiff's game plan had worked well in front of a packed house, where the pressure and stakes are high considering the prize on offer.
"We got it right tactically, because we stifled them but still played our own game," claimed Jones. "My players stood up and were counted in all areas - and played some impressive football, while also knowing when to dig in and play the less glamorous aspects when called upon. Whitts took his goal really well, while late on Dave Marshall did his job well to keep them out with some good saves.
"We've got a foot in the door and we've had a little peek behind it. It's now whether we can open it and then close it. Situations like this are life-changing for a club, whether for the fans or the girls in the kit room, because it's about trying to get into a division that everyone wants to be in. I think it adds extra pressure being ahead going into the second game as people will be expecting us to finish the job now. But we are just focused on Leicester. This was about digging in and we are going to have to do that again on Wednesday night."
Looking forward slightly to Wednesday, Dave said, "It's set to be a massive night in Cardiff on Wednesday - and if you think that the 3,000 Cardiff fans were impressive today, which they were - just wait until there's 25,000 of them at home for the second leg.
"Today our fans were absolutely outstanding and did us all proud, while I'm sure that it'll also be the case for the second leg. They all know what we are trying to do and were behind us all the way, which you need to have if you want to achieve what we're all aiming for.
"The win was great for the fans and gave everyone connected to the club a good feeling, but it's technically only half time, so we'll have to make sure to keep our work ethic and focus going into the second leg."
