Our "New Stadium", as it will be known until its official name is revealed in the forthcoming months, has today announced its new 2,250-seat members' club to be known as the "Premier Club".

It was a significant day for Cardiff City on Friday, 2nd November 2007 with the official start of the demolition of the Leckwith Athletic Stadium, the first step in the construction of our new football stadium which will open in August 2009.

Our stadium scheme has gone 'unconditional' and that all the funds to complete the stadium project, including the new athletics stadium and House of Sport, have been raised and placed in a 'project account'. This funding guarantees the completion of the project.
