Kevin Cooper has had his contract at Cardiff City terminated by mutual consent in order to allow the midfielder to secure a place at another club.

He joined Cardiff as one of Dave's first signings in the summer of 2005 and has made thirty one league starts for the club, also coming on as a substitute nine times. Kevin was restricted to first team action last season due to injury and spent time on loan at Walsall and Yeovil. This season he has also spent time on loan at Tranmere in League One.
