Today saw the press release of our F.A. Cup Final song "Bluebirds Flying High" written and sang by James Fox.

James is an Ambassador Season Ticket Holder and has been coming down to watch the Bluebirds since 1983 when he was a mascot against Charlton Athletic.

The superb "Bluebirds Flying High" anthem will be launched on the radio stations now as we build up airtime to the official release on Monday May 5^th.

Then we ask all City fans to go out and buy the song and try and get it to number one.

James Fox said today at the press release:

"It really was a proud moment for me getting to put together the song and being able to work with the club. I wrote the song before we got to the final, but Peter Ridsdale wouldn't look at anything until we got there.

"I played the song to Peter and he loved it so it was all systems go and I hope all the Bluebirds fans buy this record on May 5^th and you never know wouldn't it be great to get to number one and lift the cup this is what dreams are made of."

Peter Ridsdale:

"It's a great song and it is another one of the things you can listen to when you get to the cup final. I am sure the supporters will get behind this song and you never know where it could get in the charts."

Dave Jones:

"It is a really catchy song and it is good that James is a big fan, as he has really captured the mood and the energy and enthusiasm is superb. The lads loved the song and everyone is behind it, im sure it will be a massive success."

The song will be released to purchase on Monday May 5^th.

We will be having a huge push the week leading up to the charts on Sunday 11^th to try and get this song to number one.
