December was a good month for Jay Bothroyd with some great performances and three goals in six games. As a result, he has been nominated for the Powerade Championship Player of the Month for December.

The awards will be announced this coming Monday (January 12^th) on the Sky Sports Big League Weekend 2 show which will be broadcast at 6.00pm.
