Neal Ardley gives us an update on the Academy Under 18s ahead of the MK Dons match at 12pm on Saturday. Your support would be welcome on the day at the new Athletics Stadium at Leckwith.
On Saturday we are at home to MK Dons at both Under-18 and Under-16 levels. We went to their place on November 15th when the Under-18s won 2-0 - that was a tough game, they were a very organised side, and no doubt Saturday's Under-18 game will be just as hard.
This coming Thursday we face Birmingham City here at Ninian Park in the Fifth Round of the F.A. Youth Cup. We have already played them season, winning 2-0 away on December 6th, but they had a lot of Under-16s in their Under-18 line-up that day because they had an F.A. Youth Cup game a couple of days later.
Their regular line-up is in mid-table in the Academy Under-18 League at present, and like us they are a little bit hit-and-miss. They have two England Under-18 central midfielders, so while we don't consider ourselves favourites for the tie, it's whoever does well enough on the night.
Make sure to get to the Under 18s game on Saturday from 12pm at the Athletics Stadium. Your support is always appreciated and a great way to set up the day before the Nottingham Forest game at Ninian Park.
Entry to the Under 18s match v MK Dons is FREE. Get to the Athletics Stadium for 12pm to watch the next batch of City stars
