Bluebirds' centre-back Roger Johnson has been rated the third-best footballer outside of the Premier League (and the top defender) by the UK's biggest-selling football magazine - MATCH.

The annual 'TOP 50 FOOTBALL LEAGUE STARS' feature, which ranks the best footballers playing below England's top division, has rated three Cardiff stars inside the top 50.

Other players to make the list include Stephen Hunt of Reading and Michael Kightly of Wolves, as well as two players from Welsh rivals Swansea.
