FREEVIEW: ROGER'S HOME

Posted on: Mon 13 Apr 2009

Cardiff City World caught up with Roger prior to the fixture with Burnley to see how he was feeling following Saturday's nasty injury.

"I'm not too bad now; I was discharged Monday morning after spending two days in hospital but I'm just disappointed to be honest" said Roger. "I think the incident was clear for everybody to see what went on; it's clear to see what happened in my eyes. It was a cowardly action on their player's part to my mind".

Roger was keen to continue on Saturday against Palace following the injury after being such a crucial part of the City defence this year.

"The result was the main thing; I was asking the physio and doctor what the score was so was delighted with the result" Roger continued. "I wanted to play today but the doctors have advised against it as a precaution. I'm disappointed as I've started every game this season but I intend to be back in contention for the weekend's game with Preston North End."
