Dave Jones has made another addition to his squad with the capture of highly rated central defender Anthony Gerrard from Walsall.

The former Everton trainee made a real impact in the Midlands and Walsall have turned down a number of bids from other clubs.

The Liverpool born defender made 157 league starts for The Saddlers scoring seven goals in the process.

Gerrard has been voted player of the season twice and was a key member of the Walsall promotion winning team.
