We can confirm that former Motherwell captain Paul Quinn has signed for Cardiff City this afternoon on a three year deal. Paul has become City's fifth signing of the summer, joining David Marshall, Michael Chopra, Mark Hudson and Anthony Gerrard at Cardiff City Stadium.

"It's nice to get the deal done and I'm delighted to be here" said Paul. "After speaking to Cardiff City and coming down to see the new stadium, I was sure that this was where I wanted to be.

"I'm just looking forward to getting settled in Cardiff now and starting pre-season training. It'll be great to meet all the lads and start work and I'm really looking forward to starting the new season".
