Cardiff City can confirm that midfielder Paul Parry has on Tuesday morning completed his transfer to Preston North End.

The formalities were completed after the player passed a medical at Deepdale and agreed terms with his new club.

Newport-born Parry, 28, joined us from Hereford in the summer of 2004 and made 166 appearances, scoring 27 goals. He also won 11 caps for Wales.
