Michael Chopra has outlined the need for Cardiff City fans, players and anyone with an interest in the club to take the positives from the win over Derby County, but only in a way to move forward to better things, starting this Saturday at Watford.
"There's no point doing what we've done tonight and then just throwing it all away on Saturday," he said after the match that had seen him score four in a 6-1 win.
"We know Saturday is a big game, we've put ourselves under a lot of pressure in recent weeks and (against Derby) we've managed to make the fans go home happy. We need that support for Saturday again, they've been fantastic tonight and we'll be looking forward to it."

Chopra is used to four balls, but usually in the golf definition after training. But Tuesday wasn't the first time that he had found the back of the net on four occasions, while Chops was also keen to stress the importance of the team as a whole.
He revealed, "I remember scoring four goals for Watford a few years ago but I've never scored five and I was desperate to get the fifth. It was nice to get on the score-sheet, especially going five or six games without scoring. It plays on my mind a bit but I knew if I was going to get chances to score goals then I'll score them.
"I was desperate for a fifth so that I could text Alan Shearer. When I was at Newcastle United he would ask whether I had ever scored five goals - and I always had to say no. I was keen to add a fifth and I would have sent that text, but it wasn't to be.
"I said when I scored one goal I'd get more, but I didn't expect four. I have a lot of belief in myself and confidence. I just about took every chance I had. As soon as the first goal hit the net I felt back to my best. It was a great team performance.
"Everything clicked really, the back four was fantastic, the midfield was great and Jay was fantastic as well. You couldn't have wished for a better performance. I've known Stephen for quite a few years now and we've played together a lot. He knows when to pass and pick out my runs. Jay, too, is doing a lot of work for me. He takes a lot of bumps and bruises - and gets an awful lot of credit from me for that."
So with the much needed confidence boost, Chopra is now looking to take Cardiff to the next level - which is a level of consistency to see the club progress. His self-belief is high, as is his affinity with the club following his return.
"I'm happy at Cardiff - and I'll always score goals when I'm happy," he admitted. "Dave Jones brought me back here and I love the guy. I love this club and this really could be our year. Last season we went so close to promotion and now it's time to put the disappointment of our last game at Hillsborough firmly behind us. We let the fans down back then and we have to make it up to them this season.
