Cardiff City have picked up seven out of a possible nine points since Joe Ledley returned to the starting line-up against Crystal Palace a fortnight ago.

The Welsh star pointed out the threat of an in-form Nottingham Forest side coming to Cardiff City Stadium on Sunday but was looking forward to catching up with some old pals.

"It'll be nice to catch up with Gunts (Chris Gunter) and Earnie (Rob Earnshaw) definitely," said Joe.

"They are both great players and were exceptional during their time at Cardiff. I'm sure they'll get a great reception off the Bluebirds supporters too.

"Forest looked like they were struggling a bit earlier in the season but they really are in great form now. They've won five out of their last six Championship games and if you can put runs like that together in this division then you're going to be in with a chance."
