Last week we had the opportunity to take our shareholders through a presentation about the progress that had been made at this Football Club, the short-term challenges and the underlying asset base of the Club, now that the new stadium has been delivered.

In order that we can ensure that we have the financial stability to take the Club forward we need a concerted effort from everyone connected with this Football Club to ensure that the work of the last five years has not been in vain.

The first step that was required was for us to successfully complete the land bank sale and to complete the House of Sport assignment to Borley Engineering Services. This was successfully completed late on Friday evening, February 26, 2010. Secondly we are actively working on extending existing sponsorship arrangements and bringing in new levels of sponsorship. Thirdly, we are in active discussions with a number of parties with regard to external equity investment which may or may not include a full scale takeover. Lastly, whilst there are approximately 10,000 supporters who have already made their commitment to next season for which we are grateful, there are still some 6,000+ current season holders who are still to renew their tickets for next season.

To give the Club the best financial platform to move forward we wish to see all the above bear fruit. The first item,(the Land Bank sale), has already been successfully completed. The next two are being worked on aggressively on a daily basis.With regard to the season ticket campaign, we would urge all existing season ticket holders that have not yet renewed to do so as soon as possible. In renewing your season ticket before the end of March, or by buying a season ticket for the first time you will receive the following benefits:-

*Keep your existing seat or have priority of changing seat (if a current season ticket holder).

* Price freeze guaranteed for 2011/12 season.

In looking for external investment we are concerned to demonstrate the strength of our supporter base. We clearly recognise that the recent negative publicity surrounding the Club has given some supporters cause for concern, however it is now extremely important that we move on and work together to secure the future success of this football club. As a part of this it is important for the future that as many existing, as well as new season ticket holders, purchase their ticket for next season before the end of March.
