Peter Whittingham has declared himself ready to return to action as Cardiff City prepare for Saturday's top-six battle at Leicester.
Top scorer Whitts, who has missed three games with a torn groin muscle, said ahead of the clash with the Foxes at Walkers Stadium: "I'm fit and available for selection. I trained on Thursday and it went OK, so hopefully I'll be in the squad.
"The injury came at a bad time for me. It had been niggling me for a couple of games. It kept troubling me and then settled down within a week and it was OK Saturday to Saturday. It finally forced me out of the team, but it's all fixed now and I should be available for the long haul.
"It was getting really frustrating. I had to come off after about half an hour against West Brom, when we were 1-0 up. It's very frustrating when you can't finish games and play to your maximum potential. Now I just want to put it behind me.
"We need to start picking up wins. We played really well against Middlesbrough, when we battled it out, and then it all went wrong again on at Ipswich on Tuesday. We need to be consistent."
Midfielder Stephen McPhail is also in line or a return to the team, and Whitts said: "Macca's been massively missed. Everyone knows what he brings to the team.
"He's going to create chances out of nothing and when you have players like that in your team, then games that are 0-0 with not long left can be turned because Macca produces something out of the ordinary, and that's what you need.
"We've taken some stick lately, but as long as we keep grinding out results we'll be OK. The Middlesbrough win was massive for us, a great result against a team on the up who had been playing well and getting some great results. To keep a clean sheet against a team like that with the attacking prowess they've got was brilliant for us. We got the goal at the right time and managed to hang on.
"I'm massively confident we can stay in the top six until the end. When we're all fully fit, our starting eleven and our bench are among the best in the Championship, so I don't think it's a case of us thinking the season will peter out, we just need to carry on doing what we've been doing - creating chances and scoring from them."
Whitts leads the Bluebirds scoring charts with 19 goals - two ahead of suspended Michael Chopra - and he said: "The penalties are helping me a little bit and they're going in OK, but it's just a case of me trying to get into the box.
"When you've got Burkey going down the right all you really need to do is get in the box, hope the ball will bounce to you and take your chance. That's what's been happening and I hope it will continue. But all my goals won't mean anything if we fail to get into the play-offs.
"As long as the team, are winning and I'm not scoring, I'll take that. I want to chip in with a few more assists, and if the goals come for me as well, so be it.
"Leicester will be a hard game for us, but one we are relishing, and we just hope we can turn our away form round a bit."
