Dave Jones will be without top-scorer Peter Whittingham for Cardiff's Easter Monday clash with Nottingham Forest.

Whittingham was unable to shake off a knock picked up on Saturday to feature in the Bluebirds' squad; fellow winger Chris Burke is also unfit to play.

Positive news for the Bluebirds though is that Joe Ledley will start in centre-midfield after returning to the side in Saturday's win over Swansea. Mark Kennedy has also shaken off his injury troubles to start at left-back and long-term absentee Josh Magennis is named on the bench after recovering from a broken leg incurred against Blackpool early in January.

The big team-news for Forest is that former Bluebirds Robert Earnshaw and Chris Gunter have been cleared fit to start.
