Cardiff City skipper Mark Hudson has admitted that he will struggle to getback into the team after his recovery from an ankle operation.
Central defender Huds, who is hoping to be on the bench for Saturday's crucial match at Queens Park Rangers, said: "It's great to be back training with the lads. I'm fit and ready to travel. And I'm ready to play if needed. I don't expect that to happen, but I'm ready to be called upon.
"The surgeons have done their job well and the recovery is down to the physios - I've been coming in every day and working hard. Both Joe and I also took a little break, which is good for the mental side of things.
"The back four who have been playing have done really well - even before the clean sheets in the last two games. Darcy and Jezz, have done well, and Quinny, Adam and Kev have come back. TC played on the other side when Sparky was injured, and the defence has looked really settled in the last two games, so I 'm not expecting anything.
"I spoke to Darcy who told me this is the most games he's played consecutively and he's looking good. If I can get back to push them on to even higher levels, that's great.
"We still have to get the points on the board to secure a play-off place. If we can do that as early as possible, we can relax until the end of the season, work on a few things and hopefully go into the play-off all guns blazing.
"We've got the grit and determination. We've got a few bodies who want to get over the line as soon as possible and we'll take anyone when we get to that point.
"Our recent good form has come at a perfect time. We had a great start, a blip in the middle, but the last couple of months have been fantastic, and we're just where want to be.
"We've got high expectations of each other and are driving each other on in training. The staff know what went wrong last year and have tweaked a few little things.
"QPR won't lie down and let us take the points. They had a good win last weekend against Crystal Palace so they'll be a bit more confident and they'll work hard.
"Neil Warnock is a character, and he'll be driving them on. They'll be physical, they'll be strong and they'll work until the 94th minute.
"We are in the position we want to be in, where we have points on the board and one more win will put us in the play-offs. Or say we draw and Blackpool lose, we're in there. If you'd offered us that at the start of the season we'd have taken it for sure."
