The thirteen goal striker was in buoyant mood, saying: "The squad's buzzing right now; we're confident and everybody has a spring in their step. We're really looking forward to the game on Sunday and we're raring to go."
But Jay didn't feel that playing the first leg at the Walkers Stadium gave his side much of an edge over the Foxes. He said: "I don't think there's a massive advantage to you if you play your away leg first to be honest.
"We've got to go there and stay tight and hopefully score goals as well to give us a good shout in the second leg. Leicester will want to win their home game. I expect a good and open game between two sides fighting for a place in the final.
"I'm not nervous. You have to treat these sort of games in the same way you would any other and make sure you don't let your mind get side-tracked. We've got to do what we've been doing all season and that's working hard for each other for ninety minutes.
"We'd kick ourselves if we fell now; we want to get to Wembley and win. We know we are capable of achieving and want to do that for the fans, our families and ourselves.
"We've showed our strength and character this season to finish in the top six. Now we want to finish the job. We're all saying how much we want to be there - now we have to get out there and do it.
"I want to be back in the Premier League, I believe that's where I should be playing. Throughout my career I've probably underachieved due to immaturity, but I've grown up now as a player and a person and I'm ready to step up again.
"A footballer is like a fat kid with cake! Once you've had a slice of the big time, you're desperate for more. I've had that taste and I'm hungry for it again; I want to achieve at the highest level."
