Following our fouth place finish in the 2009/10 season, the Carling Cup seeding sees us as second in the Southern Section for Wednesday's draw.
The draw will be announced on www.football-league.co.uk at 9.30am on Wednesday 16th June.
The highest placed clubs in last season's league tables, Burnley and Hull City, have been given a bye to Round 2 and the remaining 70 Football League clubs go into the draw.
The next 35 clubs in last season's tables (down to Brighton & Hove Albion who finished in 13th place in League 1) will be seeded and drawn against the remaining 35 clubs.
As usual the Round 1 draw will be split into North and South sections with 15 northern pairings and 20 southern ones.
