The all important NPower Championship fixtures have been released, letting all Cardiff City fans know the key dates in the 2010/11 season.

As you can see, the opening fixture on Saturday August 7 is at home against Sheffield United, making it a big opening match for the Bluebirds against one of the regular top six favourites.

The first away trip, following our Carling Cup hosting of Burton Albion is on Saturday August 14 at Derby County, while August also sees the first Premier League old boy in a visit from Portsmouth on Saturday August 28 at Cardiff City Stadium. We follow that with another relegated team, visiting Hull City the weekend after.
