Celtic Football Club today announced the signing of former Cardiff City midfielder Joe Ledley.

Joe left the Bluebirds as a free agent on expiry of his contract earlier this summer, and signs for the Glasgow club on a four-year deal.

After joining Cardiff City as a nine year-old and signing as a professional in 2004, Joe went onto make 238 first-team appearances for the Bluebirds, scoring 29 goals. During this time he has also played 32 times for Wales and captained his country.

Cardiff City Football Club Chief Executive Gethin Jenkins said:
