DRINKWATER IN PORTUGAL

New-boy Danny Drinkwater is hoping to make an impression at Cardiff City Stadium in 2010/11.

The midfielder, training with the Bluebirds at their training camp in Portugal, spoke exclusively to Cardiff City Player about his season-long loan move.

"I was always looking for a loan move at the start of this season and was lucky that Cardiff City were interested in me," said Danny.

"On the field I try and make stuff happen, and hopefully the fans and the gaffer will take a liking to me.

"I'm hoping to break into the team and settle early in the new season. I'm really looking forward to the challenge and hopefully helping Cardiff to promotion this time around."
