The game will not only give Bluebirds fans a chance to enjoy the delights of Deportivo's Spanish flair, but it will also be an opportunity for Depor fans to continue the celebrations that started in Johannesburg on Sunday evening following Andres Iniesta's World Cup winning goal for Spain.

The former La Liga Champions weren't able to boast to own any of the current Spanish international crop, but past stars Joan Capdevila and Arvelo Arbeloa were on the winning podium along with Torres, Villa, Xavi et al.

Cardiff City v Deportivo la Coruna will be the first chance for many Bluebirds fans to see the Cardiff City class of 2010/11, coming on the back of an away friendly fixture at Notts County on July 24.
