NAUGHTS CALLED UP FOR SCOTLAND

Posted on: Tue 24 Aug 2010

Bluebirds defender Kevin McNaughton has been called up to the Scotland squad for the first time in over two years.

Naughts won his last international cap in May 2008 in a friendly against the Czech Republic, but has been rewarded for his recent good form by Scots boss Craig Levein.

David Marshall is also included in the 26-man squad and will be hoping to fend off competition from Allan McGregor and Matthew Gilks for the number 1 jersey. Marshall was forced to pull out of the recent squad to face Sweden with an elbow injury.
