Cardiff City fans travelling on official coaches to the Portsmouth match this weekend will not be going hungry as local pie manufacturer and official Cardiff City Stadium supplier Peter's hands out free products to dedicated away supporters once again.
The free pies giveaway follows on from the success of the giveaway to Bluebirds fans that travelled to the club's first match of the season against Derby County. Peter's will be offering products again for the trip to Fratton Park, continuing its vow to keep fans well fed.
Wayne Bolitho, Business Development Manager for Peter's was at Cardiff City Stadium ahead of the Derby match and will once again be handing out free products to the loyal fans on Saturday. Wayne said: "Our products proved very popular with travelling 'City fans on the Derby trip and have certainly been a real crowd pleaser in the stadium over the past season. We're looking forward to sharing our products with Bluebirds fans once again on the long trip to the south coast."
With over 2,500 tickets sold to 'City fans and many of those travelling on official coaches, Peter's expects to hand out over 1,000 free products this weekend.
The contract agreed with Cardiff City Stadium is part of a plan for the South Wales pie manufacturer to become the food of choice for football and rugby fans across the UK following the acquisition of twelve new contracts this summer in stadiums across England and Wales.
