City Skipper Mark Hudson says that he's "buzzing" about reaching the Carling Cup Final with the Bluebirds to face Liverpool.
Huds missed out on the semi-final second leg with Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening due to a calf strain, but praised his team-mates for yet another gargantuan Cup effort.
"This is going to be an amazing Cup Final for the Club and a fantastic day for the players, staff and fans," said the City centre-half.
"It's a big achievement and we're all over the moon. I'm absolutely buzzing that we've got there.
"We would have been happy playing Liverpool or Manchester City, they're both big clubs. As it happens we've got Liverpool and we're going to give it our all. It's going to be a great game."

Sunday 26th February will mark Cardiff City's FOURTH Wembley appearance in just five seasons - a significant acheivement when taking into account that Liverpool will be playing there for the first time since 1996.
"We're going to be the experienced ones when it comes to the new Wembley I suppose!", Huds continued. "Anything can happen on the day though and we go in to it with a 50/50 chance of lifting the trophy.
"If we play to the best of our ability - as we know we can - then we stand a good chance of winning. We'll be giving it our all."
The game will also mark a reunification with former team-mates for Liverpool's Craig Bellamy - a sideshow that City's Skipper Hudson felt added colour to an already fantastic story.
"It's going to be a big thing for Bellers to play against Cardiff and I'm sure he'll be looking forward to it!", he said. "It's going to be one of those days I'm sure, but if we can win the Cup it will be massive for Cardiff City."

Malky Mackay's men have League fixtures against Southampton, Blackpool, Leicester City, Peterborough United and Ipswich Town prior to their Wembley showdown, starting at St. Mary's Stadium next Tuesday evening. Huds continued: "We have to put the Cup final to one side now though until the time comes.
"We've got a huge game at Southampton next Tuesday night and obviously, being just a point behind them we could go above them by winning. The boys did fantastic against Crystal Palace and hopefully the momentum can build, but there'll be no focus diverted from our League ambitions.
"I've got a slight calf strain which I picked up against Portsmouth which is what kept me out of the Cup tie. Hopefully I'll be fighting fit again towards the end of the week as I really want to be involved against Southampton. We'll have to see how we go."
Wembley ticket information including pricing, allocation and distribution will be published on this website as soon as it becomes available. As yet, this has not been made available to us. Thank you for your patience.
