Following confirmation of the Millennium Stadium charity concert, the club contacted the Football League, South Wales Police and Burnley FC with the offer to move the game to the Sunday.

Although both Burnley and the Football League agreed to the proposal, South Wales police stated that manning issues for the Sunday were an issue and that the match should continue as planned.

To that end we would like to confirm that the Burnley game on Saturday 22nd January 2005 will go ahead as scheduled.
