After our second win in 7 days Bluebirds boss Dave Jones was happy to get another three points but a little annoyed at the two goals conceded.

"We did make it a little difficult for ourselves, but we came away with the win which is the most important thing.

"We have collected six points out of the last two games and that is important. I thought when it was 3-0 we were going to go on and give Leicester a hiding like we have been promising. They kept going and we gave away to sloppy goals.

"People are telling me this is my 500th game and I am happy because I am in a job, but I will take a win any time whether that is my 500th game or not.

"It is good to play when other sides aren't because it gives you a real boost when you win and see your side climb the table. We will keep a keen eye on the games on Tuesday night, but once again come Friday we will have the opportunity to make ground again.

"Today was a good result and that is all that counts we have played better and come away with draws so it was all about three points and that is what we got. I also have to give special praise to Chops. I thought he took his goals well today and in two games he has bagged four goals, all of top quality.

"Chops had a run of not scoring some people wrote him off but he has showed character and the ability to get things back on track and score a top class hat-trick. It's pleasing to get the result. I can have a good weekend now, but our attention turns to Friday. Our preparations will be right and we'll do everything we can to make it nine points out of three games."
