PAUL PARRY: WINGER/FORWARD

Joint-top scorer in 2007/08 with 11 League and Cup goals together with Joe Ledley, Chepstow-born Paul missed very few matches last season, though he was out for a six-game spell from the start of April which cost him an F.A. Cup semi-final place against Barnsley at Wembley on April 6^th. He was however back for the final two fixtures of the season including the F.A. Cup Final against Portsmouth. Mainly a wide player who can operate on the left or right, Paul played regularly from mid-December 2007 in a central-attacking role where his pace caused problems for opposing defenders. Formerly with Hereford United, he was signed from them for £75,000 on January 9^th 2004 and soon became a full Welsh International. He has made 11 appearances for Wales, and he now goes into his sixth season with the Bluebirds, last season having been his best so far for the Club.
