Adam came through the Club's Academy groups from the age of eight, and after two years as a scholarship-trainee, he became a full professional in January 2009. Named as Football League Apprentice of the Year, he made his first-team debut in April 2009, and last season (2009/10) played in over half of the Club's first-team matches. A Wales Youth International, he made his Wales Under-21 debut last season.
