Cardiff City Stadium is set to enjoy a gala evening in early December, celebrating one hundred years of Cardiff City FC as a professional club. It's a night not to be missed in the history of the club, with supporters invited to join a host of special guests from our past and present. It's set to be remembered as a great event for all to enjoy - and the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season in style.
Over the last one hundred years, Cardiff City is littered with key events, highs, lows and of course some unforgettable matches at Ninian Park and now Cardiff City Stadium. Whether you want to talk about our formative years, European nights, wartime stars, promotions, relegations, play-off finals and Wembley trips old and new, good and bad - it's all a part of our history and there to be celebrated by all associated with the club.
With 2010 marking one hundred years since the formation of Cardiff City Football Club after our Riverside days, it's fitting that there should be a special night to commemorate our former years, while working together to try and make 2010/11 season one of the high points in our continued history.
THE BIG NIGHT
Running from 7pm until midnight on Friday December 3rd in our fantastic Redrow Suite on level three at Cardiff City Stadium, tables are available to book at special rates for ten guests, with further discounts on offer for Premier Club Members and Ambassadors.
Each full table booking will be hosted by a special guest from the rich history of the club, ensuring that there will be plenty to talk about in between courses. You could be sat next to a former star or a key face from years gone by at Ninian Park, right up to familiar faces from the present day. Shared tables are also available, ensuring all Cardiff City fans are able to take part in an entertainment packed evening. It's not to be missed, taking in a drinks reception, a three course meal, on stage question and answer sessions with former players and managers of Cardiff City, along with live music from swing star Cole Page and a special Centenary Dinner auction and prize raffle.
It keeps coming. All guests attending the Cardiff City FC Centenary Dinner will also receive a limited edition and exclusive gift pack, helping to keep the evening in memory long after the event.
In a night that will feature rich multimedia content to highlight years gone by, our Cardiff City photographers will also be here on-site to take the perfect photo of guests prior to the event.
