I'LL BE THERE: THE TOUR - TICKET INFO

Posted on: Mon 25 Jul 2011

On Friday, we launched the news that Cardiff City Football Club would be hosting a number of supporters' evenings throughout the 2011/12 season to give YOU the chance to meet and ask questions of Malky Mackay and key Bluebirds' personnel.

Details of the first of these evenings, to be held at Rhydyfelin Non Political Club on Wednesday 3rd August have now been finalised. To find out how you can apply for tickets to be at this event, read on.

Since his arrival at Cardiff City, Malky Mackay has stressed the importance of the football side of the club to link up with and show an appreciation to our valued supporters. It's a belief that backs our ongoing I'll Be There campaign and one that we are keen to endorse with the Bluebirds boss, starting this season.

As such, a number of evenings are planned to run the course of the 2011/12 season whereby supporters in highly populated areas of South Wales will get to meet and interact with Malky, CEO Gethin Jenkins and some of our players and staff on their own back door. That's right, we're heading out on the road!

In short, the 'I'll Be There' tour is an opportunity for the fans to get close to key personnel at the club and ask questions in an informal setting.

The first of these evenings will take place at the Non Political Club in Rhydyfelin on Wednesday 3rd August starting at 7.30pm. The evening will be hosted by Keith Cooper.

We can now confirm the allocation policy for tickets for this first event.

Tickets have been allocated to the Supporters Club and the Cardiff City Trust with the remainder being distributed on a ballot system through the Club.

If you would like to apply for tickets then please send an email to the Club stating the following information. The email address you need to use is marketing@cardiffcityfc.co.uk

• Name and Address

• Fan Number

We currently have 30 pairs of ticket to distribute and will randomly select successful applicants from those who have entered the ballot.

You will be contacted by Friday 29th July by email if you have been successful.

We fully understand that the demand for tickets will outstrip supply, but feel that this is the fairest distribution policy.

Other nights will be confirmed in due course at venues in Blackwood, Maesteg and Penydarren, Merthyr this side of Christmas, with other locations to be confirmed in the New Year.

There will be no charge for the tickets, but we ask that supporters make a donation on arrival to Ty Hafan, while we will also organise a raffle.

Bluebirds supporters also have the opportunity to meet Malky at Cardiff City Stadium for a special dinner on 8th September. For details and tickets for a great night call 0845 345 1405 during office hours.
