Standing at an imposing 6 ft 4 inches, Kenneth Zohore offers a real physical presence in attack for City. The young Dane arrived on loan from Belgian club K.V. Kortrijk, following an impressive stay with Odense Boldklub in the Danish Superliga, where he netted nine times in twenty-four appearances. After scoring twice for City towards the end of 2015/16, Kenneth signed a three-year contract with the Bluebirds in July 2016.
Kenneth came through the youth ranks at FC Copenhagen and became the youngest player ever to score for the club when he was just 16 years old. Zahore has also had loan spells with Danish clubs Brøndby and Göteborg from Italian side Fiorentina. For Göteborg, the striker scored his first goal for the club just three minutes after coming on as an 83rd minute substitute in his home début.
Kenneth is a physically strong player who is very good in the air and these attributes were noticed by the Denmark U21 national team, for whom he has scored six times in fifteen appearances. There is true footballing pedigree in Kenneth’s family as his father is second cousins with ex-Chelsea striker Didier Drogba.
