Lex Immers is a Dutch forward and midfielder with a wealth of experience playing in his homeland. Lex arrived in South Wales on loan from Feyenoord in January 2016 to bolster City’s attacking options. Immers is a versatile player who is comfortable in several positions, be it out wide, up front or behind the main striker.
The attacker made his debut for Ado Den Haag in 2007 and regularly chipped in with vital goals for the club he supported as a boy. In 2012, Lex moved to Feyenoord where he was handed the number 10 jersey. During his time at the club he netted an impressive 30 goals in 100 appearances.
The Dutchman made an impressive start to life in South Wales, netting on his full début for the Bluebirds, and scoring a total of five League goals in 2015/16. He agreed to a two year contract at Cardiff City Stadium ahead of the 2016/17 campaign.
