HAPPY CARDIFF CITY CHRISTMAS

Club News

On behalf of all of us at Cardiff City I wanted to wish you all a very happy Christmas and New Year period.

Experience has shown us that football clubs cannot achieve success without everyone pulling in the same direction, giving their all and I am proud to be manager of this club. My coaching staff, players and valued colleagues at the club, along with the board are also very proud to represent Cardiff City and we all look forward to working hard over Christmas and the year to come.

If you consider that we brought in nine new players in the summer, they have bedded in really well and we have come together nicely as a team and a squad.

At this time of year, people’s thoughts often turn to January and what might happen when the transfer window opens, but before we start dealing with that, we have a very tough match here on Boxing Day and another one on Saturday. I hope to see you all for both games as we aim to start another run of successful home results.

We're top of the Championship table half way through the 2012/13 season and I’d like to thank you all for your contribution to the positive results we've enjoyed – your ongoing support and dedication a huge factor in what we’re trying to collectively achieve, both at home and on the road.

Enjoy your day today and make the most of time with your family and friends. Merry Christmas to all associated with Cardiff City.
