DVP FALL AWAY TO BRENTFORD

The Development side began October with an away trip to Brentford and despite a hard fought performance from Kevin Cooper’s side they fell to a 2-1 loss at Jersey Road training ground.

 

, the Cardiff City Academy’s goalkeeping coach coming to the aid of his side by taking up the responsibility between the sticks himself.Lee Kendall joined up with the Development side in his return from injury, adding experience to a young City line-up while building towards breaking his way back into the first team. O’Sullivan’s goal was just a consolation though as Brentford saw out the final minute of injury time. A second away defeat for Cooper’s men on their travels, but they will have gained heart from an improved second half performance against a strong Bees side.
