ACADEMY & DEV SQUAD FIXTURES
Pre-season confirmed for Academy and Development sides
City's Development squad will first face Haverfordwest County at Bridge Meadow Stadium on Tuesday, 23rd July (kick-off 7pm) before taking on Barry Town United at Jenner Park on Saturday, 27th July (kick-off 3pm).
Four days later City's under-21s will take on Welsh Premier League outfit Port Talbot Town at Victoria Park on Wednesday 31st July (kick-off 7.30pm) before arguably facing their toughest test of the summer against Blue Square Premier side Hereford United at Edgar Street on Saturday, 3rd August (kick-off 3pm). The development squad round off their pre-season campaign on Tuesday, 6th August with a trip to the Deeside Stadium to face GAP Connahs Quay. The Academy have a busy pre-season schedule themselves which started with a 1-1 draw with Taff's Well at the USW Sport Park in Trefforest, Yora Enzam getting the goal for City in a tough pre-season test.
Next up for City's under-18s come visits to Southampton on the 24th July (kick-off 12pm) and Swindon Town on the 26th July (kick-off 11am) before hosting Exeter City on the 3rd August (kick-off 12pm), Merthyr Town on the 7th August (kick-off 7pm) and Reading on the 10th August (kick-off 11am).
