Lauren Price claims Women’s Welsh Premier League award

Lauren has been with Cardiff City FC Women’s Team for the past 2 years and has also been involved in the clubs Education & Futsal Scholarship.

Joel Hutton, Women’s Team Coach spoke at the Cardiff City Women’s Team presentation evening and said: “Lauren has played in a lot of important games this season; and this has been rewarded by her involvement in the Welsh Senior Squad and leading the team as Under 19’s captain.”

After a successful season saw Cardiff City FC Women’s Team crowned inaugural Welsh Women’s Premier Football League Champions, secured by an impressive 5-2 victory against Wrexham Ladies FC at the Cardiff City Stadium, Cardiff City FC Women’s Team player Lauren Price has been crowned Welsh Women’s Premier League Player of the Season. Lauren has been studying on the Education & Futsal Programme for the past two years and has shown fantastic determination and dedication throughout. “Her attitude has enabled her to juggle an already successful international career and her BTEC studies, where her achievements in the later will see her gain entry to University at the end of this academic year to continue her studies.”

“From all of us on the Education & Futsal programme we would like to wish Lauren all the best in her future pursuits and there is no doubt in our minds that she will go on to be very successful.”




As well as Lauren being presented at the awards evening, player’s player and coaches’ player awards were presented to members of each squad and goal of the season, which was voted for on the night by everyone present.
