UNDER 16s FUTSAL TOURNAMENT
Sunday 28th July. with the opportunity to compete in a pre-season futsal tournament at the House of Sport 2 facility, Cardiff on Under 16 Male Club TeamsCardiff City FC Community & Foundation are providing
The day is due to begin at 10am and the tournament will commence with group games, then progressing into knockout stages and a final with the tournament finish time TBC.
The game of futsal is increasing in popularity across the UK with many other countries already familiar with this small sided version of the game of football. Players such as Pele, Ronaldinho, Messi, Xavi and Iniesta are just a selection of players who attribute their 11-a-side success to their futsal participation from a young age.
As part of the tournament the Foundation has linked with the club’s media department who’ll be filming all of the day’s action, and post tournament providing your team with the unique opportunity to watch your performances back on YouTube. Additionally a photographer will be present to take a squad photo that will be sent to you after the tournament.

In order to maximise playing time and the opportunity to use the state of the art facilities a maximum of 16 teams will be allowed to participate on the day and will be chosen on a first come first serve basis.
