ACADEMY STAFFING STRUCTURE CONFIRMATION

Cardiff City Football Club is pleased to confirm that Matthew Bloxham, Jarred Harvey, Dane Facey and Tom Hutton have taken up new roles within the Cardiff City Academy setup.

The appointments conclude a four-week search led by Russell Slade, Academy Manager James McCarthy and Head of HR Dawn Williamson, to fill the positions vacated by Scott Young, Kevin Nicholson and James Rowberry.

Speaking exclusively to cardiffcityfc.co.uk on Thursday, James McCarthy said of the news: “I am delighted to be able to add such talented coaches to our Academy programme.

“Matthew and Tom were already part of our setup, while Dane and Jarred join us from Swansea and Port Talbot respectively.

“All four are diligent and reliable in their work, keen to keep the Academy pushing forward in the quest of producing players for our first team. We are delighted to have them on board.”
