City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjær took his first Cardiff City Stadium training session today, as his squad continue preparations for Saturday’s Barclays Premier League visit of West Ham. Included in the ranks was new signing Magnus Wolff Eikrem who today signed from Dutch club Heerenveen.
On training and the upcoming encounter, Ole said, “The stadium and the pitch here is fantastic and the lads had a good session today. Magnus said felt like he had been waiting for ages to get out and train with his new teammates and it was great to see him playing football again. He’s a full international and can now train and play with the good group of players that we have here.
“I can’t wait and want to see the players go out there as they did against Sunderland, playing at home and enjoying and expressing themselves, which we hope will put West Ham on the back foot. I’m looking forward to the match this weekend, with the home crowd getting behind their players and the team.”
