City's home tie with Forest to kick-off at earlier 12.15pm time

Cardiff City’s home clash with Nottingham Forest on Saturday 18th October has been selected for live television coverage and will now kick-off at the earlier time of 12.15pm.

The fixture which was originally scheduled to kick-off at 3pm, will now be played at its earlier midday kick-off time and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

City’s clash with Forest is the third fixture of the month of October that will be shown live on Sky Sports, after the Bluebirds’ away fixtures to Blackpool and Millwall were moved after being selected for live television coverage.

The Bluebirds’ trip to Blackpool will now be played on Friday 3rd October, kick-off 7.45pm. The game that was originally scheduled to take place at on Saturday 4th October, will now take place at Bloomfield Road the evening before after being selected by Sky Sports live broadcast.

City’s away trip to Millwall on Saturday 25th October has also been chosen by Sky Sports for live broadcast and will therefore kick-off at the earlier time of 12.15pm at the New Den.

The Bluebirds' last visit to the New Den came in September 2012 when two quick fire goals from Peter Whittingham and Craig Noone secured a 2-0 victory. City's last trip to Blackpool and Bloomfield Road proved to be just as fruitful as goals from Kim Bo-Kyung and Tommy Smith saw City run out 2-1 winners.
