Club icon receives London award; John Tobutt also recognised

‘Team of the Decade.’ by naming him in their Peter WhittinghamThe Football League have honoured Cardiff City’s

 


Whittingham has made 339 League appearances for the Bluebirds since joining the Club in January 2007, scoring 72 League goals during that time.



The City stalwart – currently eighth in the list of the Club’s all-time appearance makers - received the prestigious honour at the Football League’s 10th annual Football League Awards ceremony, held on Sunday evening in London.

Highlights of the 2015 ceremony, which marked the 10th year of the awards, will be shown on Sky Sports 1 on Monday evening at 6:15pm and 9:15pm.
