MATCH-DAY ITINERARY: CARDIFF VS WOLVES

Club News

The following information can help you make the most out of pre-match with us today.

The Cardiff City Hospitality lounges are now open!

1:30pm:   Turnstiles open.
2:00pm:   Family Stand & Canton Stand activities start.

In the hour leading up to kick-off, non-playing first team players will make an appearance in the Family Stand. Rubylicious, our local dance crew will also be performing in the Family Stand from 2.00pm, so feel free to join in and learn some new moves. You can also join in with street soccer and FIFA 15 in the Family Stand throughout the evening.

‘A Design For Live’ are playing the Foster’s Stage today. The lads are from South Wales and are currently the only ‘Manic Street Preachers’ tribute band in the world, with over 20 years from playing live shows this high energy tribute act is not to be missed. They have a busy day ahead, not only playing the Canton Stand from 2pm but also heading over to The Globe on Albany Road to play live again this evening. All Bluebirds supporters will receive half price entry if they take along our match-day programme – 7:30pm kick-off.

Before the game, Breast Cancer Care will be holding a Bucket Collection around the Cardiff City Stadium. Rachael Power from Breast Cancer Care Cymru gave her thoughts on the day: “We are a charity that receives less than 1% government funding. As a result we rely on individuals and organisations like Cardiff City Football Club to give us these opportunities to raise awareness and money. Your support will help to ensure that our services remain free. Thank you to everyone who donated to our bucket collection before the game. If you missed our collectors visit: www.breastcancercare.org.uk/donate to make a donation to us.”

As we have reported across the past few days, this weekend’s fixture at Cardiff City Stadium against Wolverhampton Wanderers has been dedicated to celebrating the work of Kick It Out, football’s equality and inclusion organisation, as part of its ‘Season of Action’.

Do you want to play a more active role in Kick It Out’s ‘Season of Action’? You can get in touch with the organisation by calling 0207 253 0162, emailing info@kickitout.org and via TwitterFacebook and Instagram.

2:15pm:   Players warm up.
3:00pm:   Kick Off.

RAGSY RETURNS AT HALF TIME

Having performed on the Foster’s Stage for our last home game, we are pleased to welcome Welsh singer/songwriter Ragsy to Cardiff City Stadium today. This time he will be joining us as a guest in hospitality and will be helping with the half time 50/50 draw, while telling us about his debut album ‘Ouch!!!’, which is available to preorder now.

Taking inspiration from his own life experiences, Ragsy’s heartfelt lyrics perfectly align with his raw, classic rock-inspired vocals. Crafted over a two-year period following his time on BBC’s The Voice in 2013, mentored by Sir Tom Jones; ‘Ouch!!!’ is a record of the highs and lows, where Ragsy’s distinctive voice tells an honest and impassioned tale of life’s unpredictability.

'Ouch!!!’ will be released the 1st March on CD and also through all major download sites including iTunes and amazon, and is available to pre-order now, with a secret track – the studio version of ‘Feels Like Home’. But there’s no need to wait until then to hear the inimitable sound of this talented singer-songwriter; visit youtube.com/RagsyMusic to enjoy a variety of high quality live recordings and music videos.

More information about upcoming gigs, tours and radio appearances can be found at twitter.com/Ragsy78.
